4th release from Toxic Holocaust on Relapse. The creative force behind one-man thrash band has always been vocalist/guitarist, Joel Grind. But on this release, it's finally a community effort, with a full band in the studio, Phil Zeller (Bass) and Nick Belmore (drums) instead of Joel performing all the instruments. Conjure and Command unleashes 10 fiery tracks that merge Joel's love of old school punk with blackened thrash metal. His love for BATHORY and his DIY approach have been the foremost importance in Grind's vision of what this new release should sound like. The lyrical content is more about mythology and the ancient occult rather than the apocalyptic themes of previous releases.
