Turpentine Brothers are two parts King of Nuthin' (Singer/guitarist Justin Hubbard and Organist Zack Brines) and one part Mr. Airplane Man (Drummer Tara McManus) partially based in Boston and partially based in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Called the bastard love-child of 60's soul and Nuggets proto-punk. Release has been called a wonderful soul-drenched slab of scuzzy garage rock ala Oblivians or White Stripes.
