Joe Meek was Britain's first independent record producer who worked from a makeshift studio in his flat on London's Holloway Road in the 1960s. He had a string of home-made hits including several number 1 chart successes. Here we find a selection of Death Discs from his legendary and recently unearthed Tea Chest recordings.
