Thy Serpent Rise is the third release from Vessel Of Light. Formed in 2017 by Nathan Opposition and Dan Lorenzo, Thy Serpent Rise includes former Hades bass player Jimmy Schulman and long time Overkill drummer Ron Lipnicki. Most often described as a doom band, VOL don't limit themselves to one category. You'll hear elements of Opposition's other band ( Cleveland's Ancient VVisdom) while Lorenzo's riffs encompass memories of his past bands Non-Fiction, Hades and his stellar release with Bobby Blitz from 2007 The Cursed. Vessel of Light were in the midst of a run of East Coast shows when the pandemic shutdown occurred. They are now working on their fourth album which will be released on California's Nomad Eel.
