Vocoder were a spanish quartet formed in 1981. They recorded several demos with synthesizers, sequencers, and drum machines creating a soundtrack for the clubs and dance floors. The group played all throughout the 80's but eventually disbanded in 1988. Cuadro Sinoptico compiles both 2 song 12"s into a four song EP. All four songs were recorded during 1984-1985 in Madrid, Spain utilizing many of the same synthesizers of the time and the Linn Drum (used by Italo House artists). Vocoder combined soaring melodies with a futuristic coldndess. All songs remastered at Fantasy studios by George Horn in Berkeley. Each 12" includes a double-sided insert with photos, lyrics and liner notes.
