Voodoo Synthesist
Post Industrial Music For Post Industrial People
Scott Wexton began performing as the Voodoo Organist in 2001, and since, has played over 800 shows nationwide, has
hundreds of press articles, opened for legends such as Hasil Adkins and Stan Ridgway, and was featured in a segment on
NPR's Here and Now. PIMFPIP is Wexton's 11th album, and his first under the moniker Voodoo Synthesist. As the name and
title implies, instead of Demonic Exotic Organ Blues, this album is Dystopian Instrumental Synth Music, that takes
inspiration from weirdo synth artists like Mort Garson, motorik krautrock like Neu!, and might appeal to fans of bands
like Trans Am and Add N to X.
