The band has built a reputation over the past decade for its singularly high-energy live performances and committment to pushing the limits of rock music forms and Sounds is the next step in this progression. Through the years improvisation has been a major part of the XBXRX live show, but remained unrecorded until now. The album features 7 improvisations of distinctive character and mood ranging from frenzied storms of white noise to pointillistic chamber music.
