Stefan Weiser (Z'EV) moved from NY to San Francisco in 1979 and adopted the name Z'EV for his performance/noise percussion work. He has worked with everyone from Glenn Branca, KK Null, Chris Watson (Cabaret Voltaire), John Duncan, Adian Baker, Stephen O'Malley, Merzbow, Boyd Rice (NON), Oren Armbachi to noise pioneer Genesis P'Orridge (Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV). This release contains experimental electronic abstract tracks and performances recorded in Los Angeles in 1978 at KPFK Radio and Savoy Tivoli in Sanfrancisco on 2/12/1981.
