In 1972, Blue Ash signed a production deal with Peppermint Records of Youngstown, Ohio. This was the classic Blue Ash line-up of Frank Secich, Jim Kendzor, Bill "Cupid" Bartolin, and David Evans. They made their first demos in June of 1972, which included "Abracadabra (Have You Seen Her?)," and Peppermint sent them out to all the major labels, resulting in Mercury signing them in late 1972. Limited edition pressing of 450 copies.
