The Caravels and Octaves split EP will be released digitally on January 20, 2015, and on 12" vinyl March 3, on Bridge Nine Records and Topshelf Records. Both bands (who tour Europe together in January) follow up 2013 fulllength debuts with a pair of tracks each updating their respectively unique takes on modern post-hardcore, from Caravels' atmospheric, clouded brooding and anxiously shouted lyrics to Octaves' barked, clever wordplay and spooky, carnival-esque musical left turns.
