Medicine Mountain is the debut album by Brooklyn, NY, garage-noise band Chomper, to be released November 10th, 2017 on the Iron Pier record label. Featuring members of greats such as Guided by Voices, The Men, Dream Police and more, Chomper's sound is pile-driving and psychedelic, but not without a crucial dose of pop smarts. Medicine Mountain was recorded to two-inch tape in one day, with Travis Harrison (Guided by Voices, ESP Ohio, Beech Creeps) behind the boards. The sheer velocity of this process seems to have brought out Chomper at its wildest, though shot through with a crucial dose of great songs and pop smarts.
