"Coward Leader Omega" is a new limited-to-50 cassette compilation of Hollow Sunshine's Three EP series, "Coward," "Leader," and "Omega." Hollow Sunshine is the duo of renowned illustrator and instrumentalist Reuben Sawyer (Dry Insides, Florida Man, Blood Bright Star, Ascetic House West, artist for Chelsea Wolfe and Deafheaven) and garage-pop wunderkind Morgan Enos (Other Houses, Hheaven). Hollow Sunshine previously released LPs on Robotic Empire and Iron Pier and have been featured and praised at Pitchfork, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, AV Club, Invisible Oranges, and others. They play guitar and electronic-based dreampop heavily influenced by sludge and doom music but featuring key shoegaze flourishes. These EPs were designed to never be released on a physical format, but after a bunch of fan interest, the band relented and the result is this super-limited CS. It's three EPs worth of shoegaze and sludge influenced guitar-centered doom pop and some of Hollow Sunshine's best material. CS packaging features stark black and white retro cassettes and J-cards.
