"Got no money I got style. Got no reason I got right!" the opener begins - a stab at the bourgeoisie and all conventions, with the sound sounding sharp and dangerous like in the times of pre-77 punk from the gutters of New York - greetings from the Stooges! 12 songs, short and concise, and that's a good thing. After 25 years of band history, a lot has accumulated on the band's silverback: straight roots punk tracks like "Outta Here" and "Out Of Touch" are joined by lively drinking songs à la "Fill Me Up" or "Favourite Drinks". "Bad Decision" and "I Was Wrong", which is reminiscent of the early AC/DC, tell of the suffering afterwards. After all, we are all just mangy sinners! The album ends with an acoustic version of "don't bug me" in the morning-after version. The trio is in top form here and Tony's guitar sound (orange?) is hotter than ever before. Anger and arrogance ignite the embers of the furious stage band - thanks to the live recording session, the mixture also ignites on the record. Next stop - your town!
