Steadians & Tony D
Cien Anos
The Steadians are part of the new vanguard of traditional 60s inspired Ska on the West Coast. Digging deep into the
Jamaican and Caribbean influences, The Steadians have carved out a place in the Los Angeles Ska scene. Tony D. joined
the Steadians a few years ago, binging a new element to the band that took them to the next level. The band hasn't
looked back since, following in the footsteps of Hepcat, Mobtown, Seespot and all the late 90s trad Ska bands from LA.
Crafting their style and sound for the last 9 years, The Steadians have arrived, and have blessed us with 2 magnificent
tracks on a slab of wax.
Side A is Cien Aos, sung in spanish, a love song about never forgetting a lover for 100 years, originally made famous by
Pedro Infante, a 1950s golden throated Mexican singer that passed away in an airplane crash. The Steadians give this
classic new life with some sleek Ska arrangements. Side B is Tell Me, an
original tune about love and despair, and everything that goes along with it.
