It was produced by Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, who among many others produced albums by the Bottle Rockets and played guitar in Steve Earle's recent tour band. In all the 12 songs you find his (rock) traces, and from the very first to the very last second Big in Iowa sweep through catchy rock, swamp rock, pop and country rock which is a real pleasure to listen to.
