With his brand new album, "Under the Sun", Julian has made his first ever studio album on English soil. He stepped back to the beginnings of his career and formed a band together with his old friends Kimberley Rew (Soft Boys and Katrina & The Waves) and Andy Metcalfe (Soft Boys & Squeeze). The album reflects Dawson's growing passion for simplicity and soulfulness in his songwriting and seems to sound tradional and modern at the same time.
