The SunKings, originally known as the Cool Arrows, formed in El Paso, Texas in the 80s. Rich Hopkins (Luminarios, Sand Rubies) lent his production skills to the second release of the SunKings, entitled Adios. With Roots firmly in riffy 70s-influenced guitar, (think Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Faces) layered with a Deep Southern Rock groove that recalls the Black Crowes, the SunKings' Adios has a straightforward, honest rock 'n roll appeal.
