In february 1977, inspired by the Ramones (From who they took their name) John Hodgens (AKA Blank Frank) formed Blitzkrieg Bop. Female bassist Gloria provided sex appeal. They released a great single (500 copies only) and received great press "They' re good enough for a six figure recording conctract" and Sounds wrote "One of the funniest things to come out of New Wave till so far". Two more singles were released on Lightning records. This CD comprises all 28 tracks of their recorded output including 21 which are previously unreleased. Comes with a 12 page booklet with a trivia section and lots of unseen photos.
