Starting life in 1976 in th north of England, Punishment Of Luxury soon attracted a large following with their theatrical live performances. A single, the classic "Puppet Life" was released on Small Wonder in 1978. The succes of the single resulted in a record deal with United Artists (EMI). All the tracks on this release are previously unreleased. It includes bonus recordings from 1983 and comes with full lyrics and sleeve notes by Neville Luxury.
