A great 22 track CD by this legendary Manchester band formed in 1975 by a group of Stooges, Dolls and Bowie fans. Along with the Buzzcocks, The Fall, V2 and Slaughter And The Dogs, The Drones were always at the forefront of the Manchester punk scene. This CD contains their first ever recording from 1975, five unreleased studio tracks from 1977/78, a 78 radio session and their final recordings from 1979, and ten live tracks from 1982 and their 1996 reformation. Packaged with a 12 page booklet with detailed sleeve notes about each recording, a history of the band and some previously unseen photos.
