After the departure of their bass player and guitarist in '98 the Rainravens saw themselves left as a duo and an uncertain future. But Van Dyke continued writing songs and with good luck they found musicians like Ian Mclagan(Small Faces, Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne) on keybords, Steve Mendell(Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Stevie Ray Vaughn) on bass. Gurf Morlix(Lucinda Williams, Peter Case, Butch Hancock) on guitar and Iain Matthews with his sad-beautiful voice they recorded the new album Rose Of Jericho, a great mixture of their predecessors.
